Many rumors have pointed to the possibility of the launch of a new version of the iPhone SE, Apple’s budget-friendly smartphone line. Having been two years since the release of the 3rd Gen, users of the American company are eagerly awaiting any news related to these devices. Therefore, a few days ago the excitement was at its peak when rumors pointed to a series of innovations that would ultimately make this one of the most interesting mobile phones from Apple.
However, the inclusion of these innovations could lead to a possible drop in interest for the iPhone 16, as indicated by the French portal JeuxVideo in a recent publication. Initially, the iPhone SE 4th Gen is expected to debut in 2025 and, according to the latest leaks, it is likely to include a second rear camera that, moreover, would be ultra wide-angle. And this, along with a design inspired by the iPhone 14, the inclusion of a 6.1-inch OLED screen, and the possibility of taking advantage of Apple Intelligence, would result in a very interesting and relatively affordable mobile phone.
The best of Apple’s latest releases
In addition to all the above, it is likely that this device will opt for an A18 processor. This means, in other words, that the chip would be the same as the one in the iPhone 16, which may offer higher performance than its predecessor. Furthermore, this model will go for the USB-C port and ditch the Lightning, as it must include this element if it wants to be sold in territories like Europe.
If all that has been mentioned so far wasn’t enough, the new rumors also suggest the possibility of including an action button. Therefore, if all these features turn out to be true, we would have a very competitive model. Unfortunately for the iPhone 16 and all the models in Apple’s new smartphone line, the future iPhone SE 4 would have similar capabilities but with a major advantage: the selling price.
