In a year with fewer major releases, surprises like Stellar Blade have been the ones that stand out. With over a million copies sold in its first two months despite being available on only one console, the PlayStation 5 exclusive (although it will soon also come to PC) is planning significant updates for the future. The most anticipated update, the photo mode, was showcased in a State of Play trailer, which not only revealed interesting details about this feature but also confirmed a collaboration with Nier: Automata.
Two big news for Stellar Blade
Starting with the photo mode, the developers of Stellar Blade presented a surprisingly complete version of this tool. Different poses, brightness and color options, and focus will be available. A total freedom for the player that will allow us to have a kind of miniature ‘photoshop’ within the game. According to the trailer, we will even have the option to create our own sources of light and place them as if they were a spotlight pointing to Eve or her companions during the adventure.
Regarding the collaboration with Nier: Automata, the developers have not revealed many details and we only know that we will have access to both 2B’s outfit and her support robot POD 042. Although this collaboration will be a joy for fans, it is not surprising considering the good relationship between the directors of both games. Yoko Taro (Nier) and Hyung-Tae Kim (Stellar Blade) have exchanged praise on numerous occasions. The announcement about these contents says that they will arrive soon, without specifying a date yet.
Also good news and this time with immediate effect, the complete soundtrack of the video game has been released on “a selection of streaming services.” Although it is expected that the list of services will expand soon, we have only been able to find it on Apple Music for now.
