“State of Play returns tomorrow, September 24th! Tune in for news and updates on over 20 upcoming games for PS5 and PS VR2 from studios around the world,” PlayStation says on their official blog. No further details have been shared about the titles that will be featured in the stream, but it’s worth noting that PlayStation’s State of Play events mainly focus on showcasing titles from third-party developers. In fact, the community is already sharing theories about news related to titles like LEGO Horizon Adventures; a title set to release on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch before the end of 2024. Either way, we will find out in a matter of hours.

PlayStation brings back the style of PS1

Aside from the State of Play, PlayStation is also preparing for the 30th anniversary of the brand with initiatives including a new color for PS5, PS5 Pro, PS Portal, and DualSense controllers. This option has enchanted many players, as it embodies a PS1-style that brings a wave of nostalgia to Sony fans. The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be available starting from November 21st.
