Mark Zuckerberg has invested over a thousand hours in Steam playing strategy game, now believes he is one of the best players in the world of Civilization VI – Civilization VI

Over 120,000 people are currently following the launch of Civilization 7. Among them, it is very possible that one of the richest men in the world, Mark Zuckerberg, is also included, who wants to create a channel on Twitch to show the world how good he is at playing this successful saga.

He certainly has experience. According to a recent interview, Steam shows that he has already spent over a thousand hours playing Civilization VI. “The other day, Priscilla [his wife] looked at my Steam account and said, ‘What? You have played this for over a thousand hours!'” we can read via Dexerto.

“I would be surprised if someone could beat me”

The amount of time spent on the latest released video game of the Firafix Games saga gives him some confidence to become a Civilization streamer and demonstrate to the world his ability to weave great empires, this time throughout human history:

“I want to be the best in the world. I think I should do a Twitch stream of myself playing with someone. I am almost certain that I am close to grandmaster status and I would be surprised if someone could beat me.”

This is not the first time that the CEO of Meta (Facebook) talks about his passion for Civilization. He has previously mentioned that he has been playing this saga since high school, which is one of the reasons why he wanted to become an engineer. In fact, the American programmer remembers playing Civi when he received the Harvard admission email.
