The tech world was aware that AMD would not take long to share the release date of its next CPU lineup, Ryzen 9000 X3D. In fact, the community had already theorized about the release window of the new processors from the American company; speculations that accurately pointed to early November. Ultimately, it is now confirmed that the line of components will be available to all users on November 7.
The curious thing here is that we don’t exactly know which chips will be available on the aforementioned November 7. As initially indicated by The Verge, AMD has shared the date without further details and, therefore, the community still has doubts about the specifications of the CPUs and their price. However, this information may be presented in the coming days and before the official release.
What do we know about the AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D processors?
Although AMD has not delved into the technical features of the Ryzen 9000 X3D lineup, based on Zen 5 architecture, The Verge notes that certain leaks suggest that the 9800X3D will be the first CPU to arrive in November. In fact, rumors go further and suggest that the processor will operate at 4.7 GHz; a figure that can reach 5.2GHz with a power boost.
Regarding performance, it is rumored that the 9000 X3D lineup will show significant improvements in productivity and workloads, at least based on previous observations in the 7000 X3D series. It should be noted, however, that the leaks do not suggest a significant boost in the gaming arena; nevertheless, it is estimated that AMD’s new lineup is capable of outperforming the Intel Core Ultra 200S in terms of gaming execution and performance. Nonetheless, we will have to wait for more updates from the American company to learn more about their CPU series.
