A Skyrim veteran signs the open-world fantasy RPG that you can try for free today. The Axis Unseen to be released on Steam very soon – The Axis Unseen

It may still take several years before we can sink our teeth into a new The Elder Scrolls, but one of its veterans is releasing a video game this month on PC. It’s called The Axis Unseen, and it is presented on Steam as an open-world horror and heavy metal video game where you can hunt nightmare creatures. If you’re interested, there is a demo available in the Valve store.

Get your bow ready and shoot

From what we read, The Axis Unseen is a fantasy RPG where we must enhance our senses to hunt down creatures with a bow and arrows that we must also upgrade. In fact, we will have to wisely choose and combine which projectiles to use on each occasion. There are fiery arrows, capable of controlling the wind and even distorting time. “Experiment to see how the arrows interact with each other; for example, wind arrows make fire spread faster.”

The game has a narrative background where we have to find out what happened to the hunters who came before us and the secrets they discovered, having to delve into their diaries and sketches. However, where The Axis Unseen excels is in its soundtrack, which promises to be a mix of heavy metal and primitive instruments composed by Clifford Meyer, a former member of the post-metal band ISIS and a member of Red Sparowes.
