It is not the first time that we come across a curious news related to the world of PC Gaming. Thus, this sector is full of anecdotes of all kinds, which is why we have been able to learn the story of a player who spent 4,000 euros only to regret it shortly after. However, the most striking ones are related to the most bizarre constructions and, therefore, after the first portable Xbox, now it’s the turn of a Mini Gaming PC that anyone would want to have in their setup.

He paid 1,700 euros for a new Gaming PC thinking it was a bargain and was warned that he

As shared by the channel ETA Prime in a YouTube video, he managed to turn a Mini PC Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q, similar in size to a Wii, into a compact gaming console with SteamOS. Thanks to this operating system, designed to be compatible with controllers, it gives the device the ability to function as a traditional console when connected to a TV. And, unlike a previous project where he used a faulty Steam Deck, this time he opted for a Radeon RX 6400 and an Intel i7-8700T processor.

It can play at 1440p and 120 fps

To keep the GPU cool, he decided to drill a hole in the side. This, in turn, is aligned with the graphics card fan, which improved airflow. Thanks to this, the ThinkCentre now has 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB M.2 SSD, enough to handle most modern games on medium settings. However, thanks to the installation of Bazzite (which simulates the Steam Deck operating system) and the additions he introduced, he was able to test the performance in titles like Left 4 Dead 2 and found that he can play at 1440p and even 120 fps.

Regarding recent games, such as Street Fighter 6, the creator of this project points out that he can enjoy it at 1080p and 60 fps, a number that increases to 100 fps in the case of Doom Eternal. Thus, although this Mini PC looks common after undergoing slight aesthetic modifications, the truth is that it has a great gaming potential. Thanks to this, it is able to run titles similarly to a console, a feature that has caught the attention of a large number of users.
