Nintendo has officially announced the relaunch of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the aforementioned revamped version of their popular mobile game, will arrive on mobile devices on December 3. This version offers a one-time paid experience, unlike the original app Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which will allow players to enjoy all features without additional purchases or the need to always be connected to the internet.
The “new” version of Pocket Camps won’t be free
For a price of €9.99, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete gives fans the opportunity to continue their adventure in the countryside world of Animal Crossing, accessing most of the items and events that have characterized the game since its launch in 2017. Additionally, Nintendo has confirmed that players can transfer their progress from the original game if they link their save data before June 2, 2025, ensuring that their efforts are not lost.
One of the most notable novelties of this version is the introduction of “camptickets”, customizable cards that players can exchange to display information such as their favorite characters. They can also invite friends to a new exclusive space called Mount Nimbus, where they can participate in group activities, such as in-game concerts. This social approach aims to strengthen the connection between players and enhance the multiplayer experience.
Additionally, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will also include seasonal and monthly events, such as fishing tournaments and gardening competitions, which have been popular among players. This additional content is designed to keep the game fresh and engaging, providing continuous opportunities for customization and challenges that encourage creativity, without relying on a “games as a service” framework as before.
