As reported by Reuters in a recent publication, the Ministry of Commerce in the Asian country expressed that China supports Apple’s continued and deeper presence in its market. Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce, recently met with Tim Cook (Apple’s CEO) to discuss cooperation and presence in China. During the meeting, the Asian region expressed its commitment to continuously optimize the business environment and provide quality services to foreign companies.

Behind this meeting is China’s intention to restore healthy and stable commercial relations with the United States, a situation they aim to achieve through regular exchanges between governments and companies.
