When building a Gaming PC, there are designs that stand out not only for how daring they are, but also for how complex they can be. A few weeks ago, we came across the smallest Gaming PC in the world, which also represents a love letter to the 90s. However, the performance of this PC has nothing to do with the craziest project of an engineer who is a fan of video games in general, and computers in particular.
As indicated by the French portal JeuxVideo in a recent publication, an engineer managed to turn his Gaming PC into a desk. However, this situation took him quite some time, as he dedicated an entire year of work to the project, aiming to break away from traditional PC case designs. Instead of using a conventional tower with glass walls, the engineer designed a desk that allows a direct and elegant view of the components. Additionally, his creation generated a lot of enthusiasm among the Reddit community, leading to many accolades.
Custom Design for a Historic Project
The desk was specifically crafted to intricately integrate each system component, merging style with functionality. Furthermore, the engineer’s goal was to create a unique system capable of combining an aesthetic design with excellent performance for both games and demanding applications. Therefore, he opted for components like an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor, a GeForce RTX 3090, and up to 64 GB of RAM.
To take advantage of the device’s ventilation, the protagonist of this story opted for a liquid cooling system from EK Water Blocks, precisely adjusting the tube connections for optimal flow. Additionally, the fans on the left side provide fresh air, while those on the right side dissipate heat through a radiator. In this way, the engineer demonstrated that the gaming desk design ensures a perfect balance between functionality, high cooling capacity, and a visually stunning appearance.
