PlayStation 5 is in constant evolution thanks to the periodic updates that Sony often releases. A few weeks ago, we talked about the latest firmware update for PS5, which would include the requested feature of the Welcome Center, that is, a customizable home screen where you could add widgets and some wallpapers selected by Sony. While some features were not available at the time of the announcement, users in Spain can now enjoy these new features.

As reported by X/Twitter the PlayStation Spain account, when you turn on the PS5, you will see the new screen design, which can be observed with the PlayStation 5 Welcome Center, which in practice is “a redesigned version of the Explore tab”. Now, finally, debuts in Spain and we will tell you all its details. Sony points out that you can customize this space “using different widgets”.

The Welcome Center of PlayStation 5 is now available

For example, the small applications that we can now include in the PlayStation 5 Welcome Center are storage space, battery indicators for different accessories, trophies, the online status of friends, and much more. It is a quick and effective way to see more information without wasting too much time. You can change its design and size, but they will also allow you to organize it to your liking so that the experience is highly customizable, as noted by the PlayStation Blog.

On the other hand, one of the functions that has not yet been incorporated and was announced weeks ago is the ability to share groups, as they advanced that it was a functionality that allowed us to share group voice chat links through messaging apps or social networks. It shouldn’t take many days for it to be available in Spain, as it has been almost a month since its announcement. On the other hand, the measures that did arrive from the last update are the personalized 3D audio profiles for headphones, user-controlled ‘Remote Play’, and adaptive charging for controllers.
