Konami announced a few days ago that they are committed to the Metal Gear Solid franchise to preserve it for future generations to enjoy, and even spoke about a possible remake of the first installment of the spy franchise. Nevertheless, it seems that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is closer than many believe, and the community is excited about what has been seen in the recent trailers, although there has been something that has confused the community in the last few hours.
The iconic voice of Snake, David Hayter, has indicated through his X/Twitter account that he is taking on a role he hasn’t played in a long time. “Today I was in the booth. Playing a role I haven’t played since…”, he states. Although it is a somewhat ambiguous and confusing message, in a subsequent post, the actor shares an image of Snake, implying that it has to do with the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 3.
Some players think it is a teaser for a possible new video game or a remake of Metal Gear Solid, while others are more cautious, suggesting it could be an announcement or promotional act related to the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3. In 2020, the original Solid Snake actor expressed his desire to be part of a Metal Gear Solid remake, although his involvement so far has been limited to a series of videos published by Konami. He has not actively participated in the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 as Konami recycled the voices.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is playable from start to finish
Konami stated that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake “is now playable from start to finish”, making it clear that you won’t have to wait “years and years” to play Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. The gameplay demo at Tokyo Game Show 2024 showcased a very polished game, but for now, we have to wait for Konami to reveal the release date.
