For years, the NVIDIA application has tried to convince users of its capabilities, but the truth is that it has not quite convinced them. So, many continue to enjoy the benefits of GeForce Experience, a safe bet that is related to the Spanish saying: “it’s better the bad you know than the good you don’t”. However, with the inclusion of new features in the NVIDIA application, it is very likely that you will think twice before giving a resounding “no”.
As indicated by the PC Gamer website in a recent publication, the new NVIDIA application in its beta version allows for easy driver rollback, a function that has been highly demanded by users who have experienced issues with the latest updates. Additionally, starting from October 1st, all updates include RTX HDR support for setups with multiple monitors, eliminating the need for alternative solutions.
Other improvements and fixes for users
Thanks to the virtues of this app, users can customize the font color on the statistics overlay. Additionally, the application now notifies when Shadowplay recording is restricted by protected content, improving clarity for users. In fact, users will also appreciate other important features, such as the ability to remove manually added programs in the traffics tab, and the optimal settings for nine games including God of War Ragnarok and Star Wars Outlaws.
In addition to all the mentioned improvements, issues with filters not working in titles like Apex Legends, Dead by Daylight, or Rainbow Six Siege have been resolved. The update also includes general improvements in areas such as application stability, interface (now easier to navigate and eliminates the need to use the NVIDIA control panel), and the removal of the need to create an account. Unlike GeForce Experience, this application does not require users to create an account to use all the mentioned functions so far.
