Once again, the football management video game that will consume your hours is back. Sports Interactive and SEGA announced the release of Football Manager 25 for this fall on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, promising, in its desktop versions, a technical and visual leap forward. Before diving into details, here is the first trailer of the game.
Firstly, the release date. Football Manager 25 will hit stores on November 26th for PC, Mac, and PC Game Pass. The same day will see the launch of Football Manager 25 Console on PS5, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass. Football Manager 25 Mobile will arrive on November 26th exclusively through Netflix, while Football Manager 25 Touch will do the same on Nintendo Switch on December 3rd.
Football Manager 25. “A New Era”
As previously announced, FM25 marks the beginning of “A New Era” in a series that sold 14 million copies in its last installment, a success that Sports Interactive has rewarded by listening to its community and opting for a new graphic engine, Unity, which should allow us to see a great leap forward both technically and visually in the management video game.
“The improvement in graphic fidelity and the new realistic volumetric player animations bring you closer to the match action than ever before.” Additionally, FM25 also marks the debut of women’s football. “Players will be able to explore new grounds with women’s football or immerse themselves more than ever in the beautiful game thanks to SI’s new multi-year agreement with the Premier League.”
“FM25 is where the next 20 or 30 years of the studio begin. It is also when the whole world will be able to start enjoying two of our multi-year projects: the switch to the Unity engine and the debut of women’s football. Starting to share all this work with you gives us an incredible sense of accomplishment, and we’re excited to show you more about the game in the weeks leading up to the launch.”
Regarding Football Manager 25 Mobile, it retains its classic focus but also benefits from several new features, including the presence of women’s leagues and the Premier League license, as well as the ability to carry over your saved game from FM24 Mobile. Nothing has been said about the Nintendo Switch version. We leave you reading the analysis of Football Manager 24.
